I pray for my bride wherever she is in the world right now.
Prepare me to become the kind of husband she will need when we come together and let the only relationship I seek be with You until You make me ready.
Blind my eyes from wanting any other women other
than the one You have for me and remove all the women in my life who would keep me from recognizing her.
Give me wisdom to seek what is pure and right
in Your sight while I wait for her.
Give me the mind of Christ that I might not lust for any other
Women while I wait.
Put such a deep a passion in my heart for my purpose
that I won’t be distracted or discouraged from
pursuing all that you have for me.
Deliver me from the traps of the enemy and train me now to resist temptation so that I will be able to remain faithful
to her when we are finally together.
Keep my feet from falling into a counterfeit relationship and give me the strength to not settle for second best.
Give me the stamina to run this “singles” race until
I cross the finish line and receive
her heart—and Your blessing—as the prize.
